Safety: PPE and the Proper Drip
Safety is important for all of our club activities and should be taken seriously. You will not be allowed to participate in any regular activity without proper PPE.
PPE Requirements:
- Safety glasses, close-toed shoes, long pants, fitted clothing, hair ties.
- Special requirements: cryo/heat gloves, labcoat, face shield, gas mask, painters mask, hearing protection etc.
What we provide:
- Temporary glasses and hair tie (if you forget yours)
- Special requirements

- Leather shoes
All clothing must be made of natural fibers such as cotton or leather. When hot metal melts a synthetic fiber it will bond with your skin and you'll need surgery (not good).
This doesn't mean you can't style! Any close-toed leather shoes are game, which means you can thrift some doc martins and call it good. Jeans and chinos are made of cotton so as long as your favorite pair aren't a spandex or polyester blend you can wear those too. Many of your favorite cotton, merino, linen, and tencel shirts are a great choice as well.
